Steps

Peel and cut the lauki.

Wash and soak the dal.

Heat oil in a cooker add hing and jeera when splutter add chopped onion and saute it.

When onion change in colour add tomato puree and salt and saute till dry this mixture.

Now add dry spices and roast for 2 minutes.

Now add lauki,soaked chana dal add some water cover the lid and take 2-3 vissels,

Sprinkle garam masala,transfer into a serving bowl.

Serve with chapati.
