Mix butter and icing sugar with a mixer, until creamy

Add in flour and cumin, mixing either using a mixer or your clean hands until well mixed.

Wrap in clean foil and refrigerate for one hour.

Prepare your cookie baking tin by either greasing or using a parchment paper.

Pre-heat your oven at 180°C.

Roll out your cookie dough on a flour dusted surface and cut to desired shapes.

Place the cut cookie dough in the baking tin, and place in the oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes.

Remove from oven and let them cool slightly before transferring to a cooling rack.
