Here I have used leftover mawa ,Which we get from malai /makkhan after making ghee.So mawa is already roasted.I didn't need any heat work for this recipe.But if you are using market bought mawa /homemade mawa,then you have to roast mawa for few minute in a pan or in a microwave And then add sugar .Cook till sugar dissolved.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmawa
  2. 1 cuproasted chana sattu
  3. 1/2 tspcardamon powder
  4. 2-3 tbspmilk
  5. 8-10saffron strings
  6. 1/2 cup sugar powdered
  7. as neededFew drops of Rose/kewda ess
  8. as neededPista for garnishing

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    First grind roasted chana to make fine powder.

    Soak saffron in 2tbsp milk,Keep aside.

    Mix sugar powder and mawa in microwave safe bowl.And cook for 1 min So it will get soft.

    Now in a bowl add roasted chana sattu, mawa + sugar mixture, cardamom powder, saffron soaked milk, rose / kewra essence.Mix everything properly and knead till it becomes soft and smooth.(.I grinded this mixture in mixer jar to make it smooth.)

    Now make equal sized peda from this mixture and garnish with pista.
