Steps

Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Add yeast and sugar. Rub in the butter until breadcrumbs form

Add milk and eggs mixture and knead until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour

Divide dough into 16 balls and shape into rounds. Place a small tablespoon of jam in the center of each ball, pinch to cover the jam and form a round again

Let rest for 20 minutes. Heat oil and deep fry the doughnuts until golden brown
- 5
Place on plate with kitchen towel to remove excess oil. Generously sprinkle with icing sugar
