Wash the matumbos, cut into chunks and put in a pressure cooker.Add ginger and garlic paste and boil until tender.

Meanwhile, peel the plaintains, clean and place in a pan, add the sliced tomatoes plus chopped onions and salt, add some water to help tender them on medium heat.

Once the matumbos are tender and the plaintains, you can add little bit of oil on the matumbos, Blackpepper powder plus salt..and some lime juice on the plaintains for better taste.

Serve Hot on a plate with Green chillies & lemon wedges.
