Ingredients

  1. For ghiya chana dal ingredients
  2. 1 cupBottle gourd or ghiya chopped
  3. 1/2 cupChana dal
  4. 1 cupTomato puree
  5. 1/2 cupOnion puree
  6. 2 tspOil
  7. 1 tspCumin seeds
  8. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  9. 3 cupWater
  10. 1 tspSalt
  11. 1 tspCoriander powder
  12. 1/2 tspGaram masala powder
  13. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  14. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  15. 1/2 tspKitchen king masala
  16. For torai sabji ingredients.
  17. 1/2 kgTorai finely chopped
  18. 1 tspOil
  19. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  20. 1/3 tspKalunji
  21. 1 tspSalt
  22. 1/3 tspRed chilli powder
  23. 1 tspCoriander powder
  24. 1/2 tspGaram masala powder
  25. 1 pinchHing
  26. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  27. 1/3 cupWater
  28. For chapati ingredients.
  29. 2 cupWheat flour
  30. 1 cupWater
  31. 1 pinchSalt a pinch.

Steps

    Method for ghiya chana dal

    Take a cooker

  3. 3

    Add oil in it

  4. 4

    Then add cumin seeds in it

  5. 5

    Then add ginger garlic paste in it and saute it

  6. 6

    Then add onion puree in it and saute it..

  7. 7

    Then add tomato puree in it and cook it fr a while

  8. 8

    Then add all spices in it and mix it well and cook it for few minutes

  9. 9

    Then add ghiya, chana dal and water in it and mix it well

  10. 10

    Then close the cooker

    When 3 whistle blows..it's done..

    For chapati method

    Take a bowl

    Add wheat flour and salt in it and mix it well

  15. 15

    Then add water in it and mix it well and make fine dough

    Then take small ball of dough

    Roll it with the help of rolling pin

    And make chapati shape

    Then put it on tawa and cook it..

    And serve hot..

    For torai sabji ingredients..

    Take a wok

    Then add cumin seeds, hing and kalunji in it and cook it..

    Then add torai and spuces in it and cook it..

    Then add water in it and cook it for 7 to 10 minutes on slow flame..

    And serve hot with chapati and ghiya chana dal
