Ingredients

6 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1& 1/2 cupgram flour
  2. 1 cupwater
  3. 1 tspmustard seeds
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1/2 tspginger crushed
  6. 2green chillies chopped
  7. 2 tspmustard oil
  8. 1lemon juice
  9. 1 sacheteno salt
  10. 2slitted chillies
  11. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  12. 1 tspsalt
  13. 2 tspsugar
  14. 1/4 cupvinegar- water mixture

Steps

  1. 1

    At first mix 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,salt,ginger paste,green chilli chopped,1 tsp sugar and mustard oil with gram flour

  2. 2

    Now gradually add water and prepare a batter not too thick nor too runny

  3. 3

    Now add lemon juice mix well

  4. 4

    Add eno and baking soda and mix well,so that no lumps are there

  5. 5

    Take a microwave safe bowl,grease it with oil

  6. 6

    Pour the batter in it and cook for 6 mimutes in the snack mode,keep aside to cool down

  7. 7

    Now heat a pan add oil and temper green chillies and mustard seeds

  8. 8

    As it crackle add the vinegar water

  9. 9

    Add salt and sugar,boil till it disolves

  10. 10

    Pour this over the dhokla and cover till it is absorbed

  11. 11

    Serve it with sweet tamarind chutney
