Make strawberry puree by cut the strawberry into small pieces add one cup water n 2tbs sugar n heat till tender then strain with a sieve

Prepare your baking tin.preheat your oven to 180 degrees

Cream your butter n sugar till light n fluffy

Add your eggs one by one n add the essence

Sift your flour n baking powder twice

Fold into your creamed mixture

Put in baking tin n bake till ready

When cooled cut the cake into slices n put the strawberry puree
