Boiled Nduma (arrowroot) with Cardamon and Onion
Served them for breakfast today (Tea Escort😁😁).
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel the Nduma, wash, cut into small sizes and put in a sufuria
- 2
Cut the onion and add to the Nduma in the Sufuria, Spreading them well on top of the Nduma.
- 3
Remove the Cardamon seeds from the pods, use them whole or powder them and add to the Nduma in the Sufuria.
- 4
Add water to half the size of Nduma in the Sufuria, they should not be totally cover to avoid overcooking them. Sprinkle salt on top and cover with a lid. Let them cook in medium size heat until ready and the water has dried. Check if they are well cooked using a fork before removing from fire first, if not add a little water and let them cook to your satisfaction. I love them hard not soft.
- 5
Serve them with a beverage of your choice. Enjoy😉.

Vegan Bagna Cauda without Anchovy Vegan Bagna Cauda without Anchovy
A recipe that I sort of made without much thought. Really appetizing especially for those who doesn't like anchovy . A great dip for hard bread. In the photo above, I had leftover daikon radish and turnip roots, so I tried it without peeling them!To make it even better, add the ingredients into the food processor from top to down. This improves the texture. The solid crumbs of walnuts and garlic will sink to the bottom. Scoop it up to enjoy the beautiful flavor and texture of the walnuts. Recipe by Yukoai_yukoi cookpad.japan -

Kylie's Bar-B-Q Weenies Over Rice Kylie's Bar-B-Q Weenies Over Rice
This was a dish my mom made for us as kids, that was a cheap budget friendly recipe that stretched to feed a family of 4 and taste good.. My brother and I loved it. I made this for my daughter as a child and it was her favorite thing to eat. Even her friends in the neighborhood liked it to. So if you have a limited grocery budget, this is one for you. You can double the recipe to make a larger amount and it will still be one of the cheapest dinners you will ever make. cswindoll -
