Ingredients

25 servings
  1. 1/3 cupcooking oil
  2. 4 cupsrice
  3. 8 oztomato sauce
  4. 1 tblssalt
  5. 2 tblsCaldo de Tomoto
  6. 1 1/2 tspblack pepper
  7. 1 tspminced garlic
  8. 1 tsponion powder
  9. 1 tspcumin
  10. 9 cupswater

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil

    Add rice, toast until brown

    Warm water in a separate pot. Add salt garlic, onion powder, cumin, black pepper and Caldo de Tomato. Do not boil, just warm.

    Add tomato sauce to water mixture, stir

    Pour the water mixture over the browned rice, it may create steam be careful. Stir once

    Cook over low heat uncovered for 5 minutes

    Continue cooking COVERED for 25 more minutes. Do not stir

    Remove from heat, uncover and stir

Mam, looks good, taste good, but it did not come out fluffy, I followed recipe to a tee, yours looks fluffy dry, can you tell me what I could have done wrong?
