Ingredients

  1. 150 gmsrice
  2. 150 gmssugar
  3. 1 litre full cteam milk
  4. 2 tspGhee
  5. Cardamom powder
  6. Nuts for garnishing
  7. Saffron a few strands

Steps

  1. 1

    Take ghee in a wok

  2. 2

    Add washed rice

  3. 3

    Fry for few minutes

  4. 4

    Add milk

  5. 5

    Stir occasionally on low flame till the rice is cooked and milk is absorbed

  6. 6

    Add sugar

  7. 7

    After a few minutes put off the flame

  8. 8

    Add cardamom and saffron

  9. 9

    Put in a serving bowl and garnish with nuts

  10. 10

    Serve cool
