I had some left over herbs from a previous recipe I made so I used some here. I also used the pan that I cooked some pork fillet in earlier so that the mushrooms absorbed some of the pork flavour from the oil. Ingredients

  1. 4large flat mushrooms, sliced
  2. to tasteSalt
  3. to tasteGround black pepper
  4. 2 tbspOlive oil
  5. 2 tspleftover mixed herbs

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the olive oil in a frying pan.

  2. 2

    Add the mixed herbs and fry for 2 minutes over a medium heat.

    Next add in the mushrooms and fry with a lid on for 5-8 minutes.

    Season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Remove lid and fry until the liquid has almost evaporated.
