Ingredients

20 minutes
  • 2cinnamon sticks
  • 1/8 teaspoonnutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspooncloves
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1/4 sliceorange

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Add the cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, cloves, water, sugar and orange in heavy bottomed pan

    Bring mixture to gentle simmer

    Add heat and let it cook until mixture is reduced to almost half

    Allow to completely cool then sieve into airtight container
