Steps

Wash and soak Bengal grams for 7-8 hours.

Chop onion, tomato and green chilli

In a cooker add oil. Add bay leaf and mustard seeds. Once splutters saute onion and garlic. Add green chillies and tomato.

Add soaked chana and 1/2 cup water. Add salt and turmeric. Cook until done.

Once cooked sprinkle chat masala and garnish with chopped coriander. Add lemon juice. Enjoy chana chatpati..
