#diwali# healthy mathari

As we all know that Diwali season is full of calories and oily food along with yummy sweets. So have made mathari with wheat flour instead of maida i.e. whole wheat flour. It is similarly crunchy, healthy and tasty too. My family has loved it.

As we all know that Diwali season is full of calories and oily food along with yummy sweets. So have made mathari with wheat flour instead of maida i.e. whole wheat flour. It is similarly crunchy, healthy and tasty too. My family has loved it.
Steps
- 1
Firstly mix all ingredients except oil with your hand. Now make a hole in the center and pour oil for moyn. Rub the flour with oil well with your hands. Will take approximately 5 mins
- 2
Now add water in very less amount Nd try to make dough. Dough shld neither be very stiff nor very soft.
- 3
If you have time then keep the dough to rest for 10-15 mins or you can fry it immediately. After resting of dough.. again mix it and take a ball of it and make thick roti and cut the mathari in desired shape. I have used a small katori to get same size. Now prick both sides of mathari with fork so that mathari do not get bubbles while frying and shape will remain flat.
- 4
Once all are done, fry them in medium heat oil till they are golden brown from both sides.
