Ingredients

  • 2 cupsmaida
  • 1/2 cupoil
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • for sugar syrup
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1/2 tspcardmom powder
  • oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Take maida in a bowl and add the salt and baking soda and oil and mix it well and add the water and knead well. let it rest for half and hour.

  2. 2

    After half and hour,take a portion of dough and roll it to ir desired thickness and cut into strips/diamond shape as per ur preference and deep fry in oil...

  3. 3

    Take a pan and add the sugar and water and let it melt till 3 string consistency and add the cardmom powder....

  4. 4

    Put the fried paras in the sugar syrup and coat well....once coated transfer it to a plate and let it cool and serve
