Steps

Sieve the flour into a clean spacious baking tray.

Add the dry ingredients, i.e sugar and baking powder and mix thoroughly.

Wash the lemon zest and grate to the mixture.

Continue mixing for about 2mins to ensure it mixes well.

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and pour in the mixture.

Add milk little by little as you stir the mixture.Ensure it mixes completely.

Add cooking oil as you bake the dough and leave to rest for 3hours.

Roll your dough as you cut into sizeable pieces.

Deep fry in a spacious pan or frier until it turns golden brown.
- 10
Serve with hot coffee,milk tea for breakfast or do it as a snack with juice or soda.
