Matinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil in a wok add fish and fry well and keep aside

Now temper cumin seed bay leaf

As it crackle add onion chopped and saute well

Add ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears

Add red chilli Powder and cumin powder and mix

Now add tomato and saute well till oil separates

Add water boil well

Add fish and simmer till the fish get tender

Add sugar and garam masala powder and switch off

Serve it with rice
