Khichdi with Dahi Tikhari, jeera aloo, baigan chutney

Mix green mung dal and rice. 1 cup rice and 3 tbsp mung daal.

Wash, Add 5 cups of water, salt, turmeric and cook up-to 4 whistles.

Dahi Tikhari.. In a pan add 1 tsp oil. Add cumin and mustard seeds. Add turmeric and red chilli powder and pour curd over it. Add salt. Tikhari is ready to serve.

Jeera aloo.. Boil potatoes and cut into cubes. In a pan add oil jeera and asafoetida. Add curry leaves, chopped chilli and turmeric. Add boiled potatoes and salt. Saute it for a while. Garnish with coriander..

Baigan chutney.. Rub oil on Brinjal and roast it until cooked. Remove skin. Mash it adding ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilli and salt. Baigan chutney ready to serve.
