Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsoaked Basmati Rice
  2. 1/2 cupdiced vegetables ( beans, potato, carrot, green peas and capsicum
  3. 1finely chopped onion
  4. 1/2finely chopped tomato
  5. 1 tspkhada masala (store bought)
  6. Handfulfreshly grated coconut
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tsppepper powder
  9. 1/2 tspchilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  11. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  12. 2 tbspoil
  13. Salt as per your taste
  14. 7-8curry leaves
  15. 1green chilli
  16. 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  17. Pinchhing

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat some oil in a cooker add mustard seeds, curry leaves, cumin seeds, hing

  2. 2

    Add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and let it fry for sometime

  3. 3

    Add all the dry masala like turmeric, khada, pepper and chilli and let it fry for 30 secs

  4. 4

    Add all diced vegetables, coconut and cook it for 5 mins

  5. 5

    Add soaked rice with two cups of water and add salt

  6. 6

    Close the lid of the cooked and give it three to four whistles

  7. 7

    Your rice is ready to eat
