Steps
- 1
Wash the parsley, green onions, and mint thoroughly. Chop them so they're not too fine or too coarse. Chop the tomatoes as well.
- 2
Add the soaked rice to the mixture and season with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and black cumin.
- 3
Drain the mixture in a strainer. Stuff the grape leaves with the vegetable filling and roll them up until all the filling is used.
- 4
Place slices of potato, tomato, and onion at the bottom of a pot, then arrange the stuffed grape leaves on top.
- 5
Pour the strained liquid from the filling mixture into the pot. Add a little water if needed. Place a flat plate on top of the grape leaves to keep them in place.
- 6
Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low, cover, and cook for 1 1/2 hours or until fully cooked. Enjoy!
