Ingredients

  1. 1 cupcooked rice (jeera or Basmati rice u can use)
  2. 1/2 cupchopped onion
  3. 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  4. 1/4 cup chopped capsicum
  5. 1/2 cupmixed vegetables (carrot, green peas & beans)
  6. 1 tspzeera
  7. 1/2 tspwhole garam masala (1pc cinnamon, 3cloves, 2 cardamom)
  8. 3 tbspoil
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1 tsppulav masala powder
  11. as neededCoriander and cashewnuts nuts for garnishing
  12. Ingredients for paste
  13. 2green chilles
  14. 1/4 cupcoriander leaves
  15. 2 tbspmint leaves
  16. 1/4 cupchopped onion
  17. 5 clovesgarlic
  18. 1 inchginger

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly in a mixer grinder add all ingredients listed below paste add litter water and make smooth paste,keep aside

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan and add zeera once it splutters add whole garam masala followed by chopped onions, once onions are translucent add Capiscum and tomatoes and fry them for 2mins

  3. 3

    Next add grinded masala paste and fry for 5mins or till raw smell disappears

  4. 4

    Now add veggies,salt pulav masala and little water cover and cook till veggies are completely cooked

  5. 5

    Once veggies are cooked add cooked rice and mix everything well cover and cook on medium heat for 7-8mins

  6. 6

    Once done switch off the flame and garnish with some coriander leaves and cashewnuts
