To make the pakoda batter, put split green gram in a mixer jar, Add a little water if required.

Transfer the batter into a mixing bowl, add coriander leaves, dry masala, salt, hing, chopped green chilli and ginger and garlic paste, add besan and mix well.

Add 1 tsp hot oil in batter. Using your fingers drop small amounts of batter in hot oil and deep-fry till crisp and golden

Drain on absorbent paper.

Arrange them on a serving plate and serve hot with fry green chilli and onion.
