Crispy Cheese Sticks 🍠 (Kue Keju)

Stocking up on cheese sticks for New Year's snacks 😄 delicious, crispy, and savory, this is my go-to recipe every holiday or whenever I crave cheese sticks 😍
No doubt, using Mrs. Fatmah's recipe guarantees delicious results ☺👌
⚠️ TIPS for Super Crispy and Long-Lasting Cheese Sticks ⚠️ (A new technique I use, but with the SAME RECIPE ☺️)
🐾 Grate the cheese into a BAKING PAN and spread it out, then air it with a fan for 1-2 hours (or place it in an open container in the fridge for 1-2 days) until the cheese is DRY.
Or bake the cheese at 230-250°F (110-120°C) for about 20 minutes until the cheese dries / is no longer wet. (Don't let it burn, it will taste bitter 🤭)
PURPOSE ->
So that when you eat the cheese sticks, they have a crunchy cheese texture and are definitely more DELICIOUS even if you only use Cheddar 🥰
🐾 It's best to TOAST the flour first to remove moisture so the crispiness lasts 👌🏻(don't let it burn) guaranteed delicious results 😍 note: Toast first, then weigh according to the recipe
🐾 Mix the butter until well combined for about 2-3 minutes, then add the egg yolks. Mix just until combined
🐾 Add half of the toasted flour to the butter mixture, then MIX briefly, then add the remaining flour, stir using a SPATULA
I always use the technique above 👆🏻 when making cheese sticks 😍 because my mom loves cheese sticks that melt in your mouth 🤭

Add flour, milk, and cheese, stir using a spatula until well mixed 🍮

Shape the dough using a cookie cutter, if you don't have one, roll the dough into small logs, then cut to your liking 😆
