Boil the soaked mung dal with salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and let it crackle

Add onion chopped and saute well

Add ginger garlic paste and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Add red chilli Powder and cumin-coriander powder and saute well

Add the boiled daal and mix well

Add sugar and mix well
- 8
Finally add kasuri methi crush and green chillies and serve
