Ingredients

  • 4 glassgobindo bhog rice
  • 2 glassroasted mung dal
  • 1 glasssoaked chana daal
  • 1 glasssoaked yellow peas daal
  • 1 tbspginger paste
  • 3 tbspcoriander powder
  • 2 tbspcumin powder
  • 2 tspred chilli Powder
  • 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcumin seed
  • 2bay leaves
  • 2whole red chilli
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil water and add all the dala till it is half done

  2. 2

    Wash rice and boil along the dal

  3. 3

    In a pan heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

  4. 4

    Add ginger paste and saute well add cumin-coriander powder and red chilli Powder and mix well

  5. 5

    Add tomato puree and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  6. 6

    Add green chilli paste and sugar and mix

  7. 7

    Add this masala into the pot boiling daal and rice

  8. 8

    Serve hot with fried vegetables.
