Steps

Boil water and add all the dala till it is half done

Wash rice and boil along the dal

In a pan heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

Add ginger paste and saute well add cumin-coriander powder and red chilli Powder and mix well

Add tomato puree and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
- 6
Add green chilli paste and sugar and mix
- 7
Add this masala into the pot boiling daal and rice
- 8
Serve hot with fried vegetables.
