Cream together butter and both sugars. Beat in eggs, vinegar, and soda. Slowly beat in flour, any flavorings, or nuts.

Using wax paper or plastic wrap, divide the dough, roll into logs and wrap. Refrigerate or freeze.

Slice the dough and place on greased cookie sheet. Add Christmas sugars or decorations. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
