Ingredients

  1. 400 gmPaneer
  2. 2 bunchSpinach
  3. 4Green chilli
  4. 1large onion chopped
  5. 1large tomato chopped
  6. 2 teaspoonGinger garlic paste
  7. 2 teaspoonCoriander powder
  8. 1 teaspoonTurmericpowder
  9. 1/2 tspGaram masala powder
  10. 2 teaspoonButter
  11. 2 tbspOil
  12. 1 tspCumin seeds
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. 1/2 tspSugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean spinach and soak in salted warm water for 15-20 mins.

  2. 2

    Cutt the paneer in cubes.

  3. 3

    Make a smooth paste of green chilli and soaked spinach.

  4. 4

    Heat a pan add oil. Add cumin seeds.after few seconds add chopped onion cook till golden brown. Now add chopped tomato and ginger garlic paste stir well.

  5. 5

    After 5-7 mins add turmeric Powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder.cook for 2 mins.

  6. 6

    Now add paneer, spinach paste,salt and sugar mix well. Cover it for 10 mins.

  7. 7

    After 10 mins add 1 cup of water and cover for another 10 mins.

  8. 8

    After 10 mins add butter and put the gas off. healthy and tasty palak paneer is ready to eat.

Over cooking of Palak changes it's taste and colour. This receipe won't give light green colour of gravy.
