Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 cupblack sesame
  2. 1/2 cupjaggery
  3. 2 tbspmelon seeds
  4. 2 tbspshredded dry coconut
  5. 1 tbsppoppy seeds
  6. 1 tbspdry ginger powder
  7. 1 tspganthoda powder
  8. 2 tbspsesame oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean sesame and keep all ingredients ready.

    Shred jaggery and coconut.

    In a mixie jar add all ingredients except oil and 1 tbsp coconut and melon seeds.

    Churn it coarsely.

    Add sesame oil and churn again.

    Take out in a dish, add melon seeds and mix it for 5-6 minutes with hands.

    Add left melon seeds and coconut. Kachariyu is ready to serve.
