In Gujarati KACHARVU means to grind and in this recipe sesame seeds are grounded hence this name KACHARIYU. This is traditionally made by grinding manually with bullocks Ghani.. It's cheap affordable winter delicacy hence enjoyed by every households in winter.

Clean sesame and keep all ingredients ready.

Shred jaggery and coconut.

In a mixie jar add all ingredients except oil and 1 tbsp coconut and melon seeds.

Churn it coarsely.

Add sesame oil and churn again.

Take out in a dish, add melon seeds and mix it for 5-6 minutes with hands.

Add left melon seeds and coconut. Kachariyu is ready to serve.
