Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 bowlscooked basmati rice
  • 1/4 cupcubed apple
  • 12-15segments/pieces of orange
  • 1cubed kiwi
  • 1/4 cuppomegranate
  • 1/4 cupguava
  • 1/4 cuppineapple (optional)
  • 4chopped dates
  • 4chopped figs
  • 1 tbspdates syrup
  • 10-12 strandssaffron
  • 1 inchcinnamon stick
  • 4-6chopped almonds
  • 6-8cloves
  • 2-3cardamom
  • 1 tbspghee

Steps

  1. 1

    1. Take a deep pan and put ghee in it.

  2. 2

    . Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, almonds, cardamom and saffron strands.

  3. 3

    Add all the fruits except pomegranate and sauté for a minute. Then add the figs and dates.

  4. 4

    Cook for 30 seconds. Then turn off the flame.

  5. 5

    Add the cooked rice, dates syrup and mix well.

  6. 6

    Cook for 2 minutes then garnish with pomegranate seeds.

  7. 7

    Serve immediately! Enjoy!
