Ingredients

  1. 200 gmchana daal soaked and boiled
  2. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  3. 1 tspginger paste
  4. 1 tspcumin powder
  5. 1 tspred chilli Powder
  6. 1 handfulwhole garam masalas
  7. 1 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1 tspcumin seed
  9. 1bay leaf
  10. 1 tbspchopped coconut
  11. 1/4 cupcashew-raisins
  12. To tastesalt and sugar
  13. As neededoil and ghee

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and whole garam masalas

  2. 2

    Add ginger paste and saute well

  3. 3

    Add cumin-coriander powder and red chilli Powder

  4. 4

    Add salt and turmeric powder and chopped coconut

  5. 5

    Pour the daal and boil adding sugar

  6. 6

    Add cashew raisins and ghee
