It is popularly known as tyangra mach er jhal in Bengali.
Steps

Marinate the fishes with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and some salt as required.

Heat some oil in a wok and deep fry them. Keep them aside.

In the same wok, add some oil if required. Temper the nigella seeds.

Add the poppy seeds paste, rest of the turmeric powder, green chillies paste and mustard paste. Fry them very well.

Add little amount of water for the gravy and some salt. Bring it to boil.

Add the fishes and after you get the desired consistency, add some mustard oil to emphasize the flavour of it.
