Simple Crunchy Vanilla Chocochip Cookies

At 7 AM, I made these cookies because I suddenly craved something simple and classic. I chose Yongki Gunawan's fail-proof cookie recipe. The result is undeniably fragrant, crispy, and delicious! The process takes only about 10 minutes, and baking takes 30-35 minutes. The ingredients are simple and all available at home, so I quickly made them, and before I knew it, they were done. The aroma while baking was amazing, and everyone at home couldn't wait to try them! They can also be a healthy snack for the kids. Lately, I haven't been cooking much, and when I bake, I stick to old recipes like lekker holland or muffins, as I'm focused on taking care of the little one. Let's go, mommies!

Steps
- 1
Mix butter, margarine, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, then add the egg and mix until well combined. Turn off the mixer.
- 2
Add the flour, cornstarch, powdered milk, baking powder, and vanilla cream powder that have been sifted, and mix with a spatula until well combined.
- 3
Add the chocolate chips and mix well with a spatula. I added raisins to taste; you can mix in anything you like.
- 4
Prepare a baking sheet greased with margarine or lined with parchment paper. Take 1 tablespoon of dough and press with a fork. I didn't press with a fork because I was in a hurry, so the shape wasn't perfect. I used a non-stick baking sheet.
- 5
Bake at 320°F for about 30 minutes until golden brown, or adjust to your oven's temperature.
- 6
Oops, slightly burnt because the cookies were too thick, and I was worried they weren't fully cooked inside, so I extended the baking time.
- 7
Transfer immediately to a wire rack until completely cool, then store in an airtight container.
- 8
The texture is super crunchy, and the aroma of butter and vanilla blends with the sweetness of the chocolate chips. Classic and delicious!
- 9
