Porridge with a twist. Warming and delicious start to the day. I usually cook the fruit in a separate pan; this way mixes the fruit in with the oats in an oatmeal-style. Tahini and honey work beautifully with blueberries too 😋 #vegetarian

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1/2 cupsteel cut oats
  2. 1 1/2 cupsmilk of choice - maybe more depending on your preferred consistency
  3. Pinchseasalt
  4. 3apricots, cut into small pieces (fresh or frozen defrosted)
  5. 1 tbsptahini
  6. 1/2-1 tbsphoney
  7. Ground cinnamon to sprinkle on top

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oats and milk and salt in a pan (that has a lid for later).

    When the oats/ milk start to boil, add the apricots, tahini and honey. Turn the heat down, cover and simmer for about 15 mins, stirring every now and then.

    Spoon into bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy 😋
