Chhole Masala

Soak the chana overnight and boil it for 3-4 whistles in the morning

Heat a pan and add some oil into it. Once hot add some cumin seeds. Once the jeera crackles add the sliced onions and tomatoes

Saute it till it turns golden brown. Add the ginger and garlic paste and saute it again till the masala is well cooked and starts leaving oil

Add the masala powders except garam masala. Add salt as needed and mix it well

Once the masala is cooked add the boiled chana into it and let it cook for few minutes

When the chana is well cooked add garam masala and remove. You can garnish with coriander as well. Serve it with rice and paratha.
