Steps

First chop the yam to small pieces then add it to water and clean it well do not use your hand do it with a spoon. Else some people get itching because of the veggies. You can also rub wheat flour to avoid itching on your palms. Now after cleaning the yam boil it in turmeric water. Strain and keep aside.

Now take 100 grams from boiled yam put a one teaspoon oil in kadai add salt and sauté on low flame till it becomes crispy. Yam fry is ready.

For stew. Add oil into Kadai. Add mustard seed then onions green chilli pinch of salt and sauté well. Now add the yam with salt and cook well. Last add the coconut milk and heat it but don’t boil it. Last mix in cinnamon powder and serve with dosa.
