Gulgullas are most popular traditional Indian sweet dish, but this type of khasta gulgullas ( which are slight break )are mostly done in my Odisha. This type of gulgulla goes well with hot ghuguni which reminds me my childhood memories.

Gulgullas are most popular traditional Indian sweet dish, but this type of khasta gulgullas ( which are slight break )are mostly done in my Odisha. This type of gulgulla goes well with hot ghuguni which reminds me my childhood memories.

Mix all the ingredients except oil for dip frying and water and mash it gently for 3-4 minutes to make the khasta.

Then add water slowly as needed to make dough which is neither too hard not too soft.

Cover it well and keep aside for 20 minutes.

Then make small balls of it.

Heat oil in a pan and dip fry the balls till become golden brown in low flame which may takes 8-10 minutes.

Your gulgullas are now ready. Serve hot with ghuguni or a cup of hot tea.
