Ingredients

4 servings
  • 3/4 lbbulk hot or mild sausage
  • 1 1/2 cupchopped onion
  • 1 tspcinnamon
  • 1/4 tspallspice
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1 (15 oz)can dark red kidney beans (rinsed & drained)
  • 1/3 cupraisens
  • 1 (14 oz)can diced tomatoes

Steps

  1. 1

    Large pot, cook sausage and onion, drain fat. Stir in and cook for one minute cinnamon & allspice.

  2. 2

    Stir in water, kidney beans and raisens. Simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and heat through.
