Ingredients

3-4 servings
  • 200 gmsmakki ka aata
  • 100 gmsfinely chopped fresh methi leaves
  • 1chopped onion
  • Few chopped green chillies
  • 1"grated ginger piece
  • 3-4 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspjeera powder
  • 1 tsphaldi powder
  • 1/2 tsphing
  • 1/2 tspamchoor powder
  • 1/2 bowlcurd
  • 2 tspedible soda
  • 1/2 glassLukewarm water
  • Few sesame(til seeds) and whole red chillies for tadka

Steps

  1. 1

    Keep all the ingredients ready to make a soft dough

    Add in the curd

    Now add in the wet ingredients

    Make a soft dough using Lukewarm water.

    Grease your hands and Make medium sized round and fat dhoklas with a hole in between

    Grease the dhoklas

    Place the dhokla plate in a steamer and cover and let cook for 15 mins

    Makki dhoklas are ready to serve piping hot with tadke wali urad deal or any chutney of your choice.give a fresh tadka of til and whole red chillies.
