Good morning lovely people.

Eating healthy is not restricting but it's more of eating whole food over processed food and raw over cooked. This recipe will make sure that you eat you raw veggies but ofcourse with taste. Aren't you excited to know how?

Well, all you have to do is simply blend your favourite veggies into smooth paste, add any flour you love and prepare the batter flavouring it with your favourite spices. Easy, ya??
Coat the bread slice or even leftover chapati into this batter and cook it on the pan. Flip and cook! Viola!!!!

I always love modifying food as per my taste and so you can. Check my combination of veggies and spices I love in the recipe below.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupoats
  • 3/4 cupbesan flour
  • 1/2 cupcarrots, boiled & chopped
  • 1/2 cupcorn, boiled
  • 1/2 cuppeas, boiled
  • 1/2 cuptomato, chopped
  • 1/2 cupspinach, chopped
  • 2-3green chillies, chopped
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • Water as required
  • leavesFew curry
  • 6-8brown bread
  • Olive oil to toast

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind oats to make flour. In the same pot, grind all the other vegetables.

  2. 2

    In a large bowl, combine oats flour, vegetables and besan.

  3. 3

    Add all the spices followed by water and mix everything to form smooth batter. Make sure to leave no lumps.

  4. 4

    Cut each bread slice into 4 parts.
    Grease the pan. Dip pieces into prepared batter, coat evenly and place it on to hot tawa. Cook on medium to low heat until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Flip and cook. Press slightly in between.

  6. 6

    Serve with favourite chutney or ketchup.
