Ingredients

  1. 1cupFenugreek leaves
  2. 1 cupgreen fresh coriander
  3. 4green tomatoes medium sized
  4. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  5. 1 - 1 1/2 tspjaggery/ sugar
  6. Salt (according taste)
  7. 1 tbspOil
  8. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  9. 1 tspCumin and coriander powder
  10. mustard seeds -cumin seeds
  11. Onion seeds (kalaunji)
  12. 1 pinchHing
  13. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Rinse Fenugreek leaves and coriander leaves and put it in seive..chop tomatoes finely and chop both the leaves also.

    Heat oil in kadhai and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, kalaunji, hing... Saute it.add chilli and chopped tomatoes in it.. Stir it. Add remaining spices in it.

    Add Fenugreek and coriander leaves in it.. Mix it well. Then cover it and cook it till tomatoes gets soft and water totally absorbed.Lastly add gud and garam masala in it.. Mix it and cook for 1-2mins.

    Serve it with chapati or parotha..
