Pilau is a delicacy meal at the Coast and our home. When you visit this is our welcome food. Enjoy it with Kachumbari, Pilipili, Banana Fruit and a cold glass of Tamarind/Ukwaju juice.
Steps

Serve hot with Kachumbari and pilipili.

Clean and wash the rice.
- 3
Fry onions in oil till brown. Add ginger, garlic and pilau Masala.
- 4
Fry for one minute then add Potatoes, meat and rice.
- 5
Stir well and then add stock and salt. Cover pot and cook on medium heat.

When food is nearly dry, turn down the heat to low.
- 7
Cover and put a song charcoal on the top lid.
- 8
Leave it to cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

Enjoy with a cold glass of Tamarind juice.
