Ingredients

2 Cup Yeild
  1. 2 cCarrots, chopped
  2. 1/2 cBeets, chopped to as small as possible
  3. 1 Toil for sautéing onion
  4. 1/2 cYellow onion, chopped
  5. 1/2 cFresh lemon juice
  6. 2 tspApple cider vinegar
  7. 2 TMaple syrup
  8. 1 tspSalt
  9. 1/2 tspGarlic powder
  10. 1 Tpuréed Garlic
  11. Pinchcloves

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook/Steam carrots and beets in water until very soft. (Beets take for-freaking-ever, if you use a Vitamix you can get away with “just barely soft”)

  2. 2

    Sauté chopped onion in oil till translucent. About 7-10 min over medium heat.

  3. 3

    Toss everything into a POWERFUL food processor (or Vitamix) and mix till smooth, add water for thinning to desired consistency. (I prefer not to thin it)
