Steps

Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli whole

Add ginger garlic paste and saute well add onion chopped and saute till the onions get soft

Add tomato and cumin-coriander powder and mix till oil separates

Pour the dal and simmer along with sugar
- 5
Add garam masala powder and serve
