2 cups

2 Tablespoonsolive oil
1 Tablespoonminced garlic
1 cantomato paste (6 ounce)
2 teaspoonsgranulated sugar
1/4 teaspoondried oregano
1/4 teaspoondried basil
2/3 cupwater
2 Tablespoonsred cooking wine
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/4 teaspoonblack pepper

In sauce pan on medium heat, saute garlic in oil until golden brown.

Add tomato paste, sugar, oregano, basil, water, wine, salt and pepper.

Bring to boil and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes over low heat.
