Boil 1 litre of milk and squeeze a lemon. When the milk gets curdle properly, strain it with the help of a strainer and squeeze the chhena in order to drain the extra water out.

Once it's drained properly, mash it for 10 to 15 minutes continuously with your hand to make it smoother. Make balls out of the mashed chhena then give the balls an oval shape. Once you are done with all the balls, Keep them aside.

Now fry the mawa in a little ghee. At last add sugar & chopped dry fruits and mix well. Your stuffing is ready now.

Take sugar in a heavy bottom pan, add water, mix well and bring to boil. After two to three boils, add oval shaped chhena balls. Boil for couple of more minutes. Turn off the flame and let it cool.

After cooking, take a ball and cut from the middle in such a way that the another end remains attached. Now fill the mawa mixture into it and coat in grated coconut. Repeat the same process for all the balls.

Once you are done with all the balls, pour a little amount of milkmaid on each and top with red cherry. The chamcham sweet is ready to serve and eat.
