Food Gifts

I'm having lunch today with three friends I only see once or twice a year. Usually we meet at a restaurant but today one of my friends is hosting us at her home. To say thank you I've wrapped up some of my cheese biscuits, spiced nuts and chocolate truffle brownies (see recipes) in cellophane, which looks much prettier than tupperware containers. These are really simple gifts, but people always seem delighted to receive them!

Steps
- 1
Place the cooled food in the middle of a square of cellophane and simply pull the sides up. Hold it with one hand and tie the string round with the other, then pull tight to tie it.
- 2
Little cookies or brownies work better if they are stacked in the centre, but don't worry if the stacks collapse as you tie the top.
- 3
Don't tie the string so tight that you break the contents, but tight enough to hold securely.
