Mix sooji, maida,rice flour, curd with water.Make a thick batter and keep it covered for half hour.

Add chopped beans,onions,green chillies and grated carrot.Heat 1 tsp oil.Sprinkle mustard and when it splutters, add pinch of hing. Add it to the batter and mix well.Add crushed fried curry leaves and chopped coriander.Add baking soda and mix.Add more water if needed.The batter should neither be too thick or thin.

Heat a nonstick tawa.Smear little oil and pour a ladle full of batter.Spread evenly.Cook on low flame till crisp one side.Flip and fry lightly. Serve with mixed pickle and potato curry.
