Where Is the Beef? Here It Is! Stir Fried Beef and Bell Peppers

My husband and I like pork more than beef. You all could see that through my recipes. Today, I am cooking with beef, just so I don’t look like a dysfunctional cook. Not for long though....
I just got a package of beef that has the most marbles on it. Cut out the best piece to make a steak later, and use the rest for stir fry. Don’t even know which parts of the cow. I have to rely on the package, but throw mine away so I just have to call it beef.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut meat into medium thin strips. Transfer to bowl. Season with sugar, oyster sauce, black pepper. Mix well. Add potato starch, mix well. Set aside.
- 2
Slice onion and bell peppers into 1/3 inch thick.
- 3
On high heat, put some oil into pan. Put onion and garlic in, cook for about 1 minute. Add meat. Stir fry well. You will have to use whichever convenient for you to separate the meat while stir frying it (I use chopsticks). The potato starch makes them stick together.
- 4
When meat is half cooked, add bell peppers. Cook for a minute. Make a well, pour the soy sauce in, wait till bubbling, mix everything well. Put the water in to release the potato starch from the meat and also scrape the bottom of the pan to release the starch that sticks to it. The starch, with the seasoning, will coat the veggies and make them taste better.
- 5
Transfer to serving plate. Serve with rice. Enjoy!

Butter Stir-fried Bell Peppers Butter Stir-fried Bell Peppers
My mother used to make this for me for my bento early every morning before she went to work. The bell peppers are stir fried until limp, and flavored well with margarine and soy sauce! It's one of my favorite recipes, handed down to me by my mother.Just stir fry the peppers until softened, and flavor on the strong side. This is a great bento item, but it doesn't stay fresh as well in the heat, so be careful about that. For 3 to 4 servings. Recipe by yakopuyo cookpad.japan -
My beef stir fry My beef stir fry
To be honest I have no idea how much beef I used but it served 4 and it was great! I've made this so many times already and never paid attention to how much I used of everything, I go free style on most of the things I make, so anyways you can add more or less of all this depending on what you like. Let's Make it Tasty! Easy Stir-Fried and Simmered Beef & Vegetables Let's Make it Tasty! Easy Stir-Fried and Simmered Beef & Vegetables
I don't like vegetables soaked in soy sauce that are limp and wilted. If everything just tastes like soy sauce, the veggies will be so sad. I think they want to be nice and crispy still, right? Can you see that the lotus root is still white inside? If you parboil the root veggies beforehand and just stir fry and flavor things rapidly, the veggies retain their natural flavor with the added flavors on the surface. This is done in no time! For 1 large bowl full. Recipe by pegupepepe cookpad.japan -

Stir Fried Beef and Vegetable Rice Bowl Stir Fried Beef and Vegetable Rice Bowl
I ordered this once at a restaurant for lunch and it was pretty good, so I tried making it myself. In our house we like very light flavors, so the sauce we pour on the rice is just 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar plus salt and pepper. If you prefer it more concentrated, increase the amount of soy sauce and sugar.I've never use measuring spoons, so when I measure, the flavor is slightly different each time.
