In a non stick pan add all the whole dry spices and roast them slightly, grind them to a powder and use this as the main garam masala in the dish.

Now in a Kadhai add the blanched mushrooms, butter, finely sliced green chillies,1/2 tsp haldi,1-1 1/2 tsp garam masala, black pepper and ginger julienne.

Turn the gas on and over high heat cook for 3-4 mins till the whole mix starts sizzling.

Turn the gas to medium, cover the Kadhai and cook.

Now when everything is about to get cooked add the onions and cook for 2-3 mins more, don't overcook the onions.

Add the cream and milk (milk only if required)

Add salt and lime/lemon juice according to taste.

Plate it in a deep bowl and garnish with fried onions and greens.

Serve hot with garlic naan or chapati.
